A New Way to Shop Local: One4all Unlocks High Street Spending Nationwide

London, 6th May 2026 — One4all Gift Cards, part of Blackhawk Network (BHN), is introducing a new way to direct spending into local high streets across the UK.

With 98% of Brits saying supporting local businesses matters, and 82% reporting it has become even more important over the past year.

From today, One4all Gift Cards can be seamlessly swapped for Town & City Gift Cards, enabling access to thousands of local shops, restaurants, salons, attractions, and hotels nationwide.

This move reflects a major expansion of BHN’s network, which now includes more than 10,000 additional local retailers, further strengthening its ability to connect national scale with local impact.

Lou Hickey, EMEA Marketing Director at One4all Gift Cards, said:

“Gift cards are all about choice  — and that includes the choice to support local. Being able to use a One4all Gift Card to purchase a Town & City Gift Card means recipients can turn a national gift into spending power to support their chosen high street, whether that’s an independent café, a hotel stay in a town or city they want to visit, or a local treat.”

Colin Munro, CEO of Miconex said:

“Shop local sentiment in the UK is extremely strong, with 97% of people believing that more needs to be done to support local businesses.

Our partnership with One4all will give a tangible boost to high streets across the UK, bringing people through the door of local businesses with money to spend. Town & City Gift Cards blend unbeatable local choice with unrivalled support for local.”

Through One4all, BHN is transforming national gift cards into locally targeted spending solutions, enabling brands and consumers to engage more meaningfully at a community level while supporting independent retailers, boosting high street footfall, and strengthening regional economies.

As its global network expands to include thousands of local retailers, BHN is redefining how branded payments deliver both national reach and local relevance.

The expanded network includes more than 90 Town & City Gift Card programmes, covering major cities like Aberdeen, Belfast, Cardiff, Cambridge, Bristol and Nottingham; tourist hotspots including Edinburgh, Bath, Glasgow, Brighton, Chester, Brixton, the Isle of Wight and York; and vibrant towns such as Enniskillen, St. Andrews and Harrogate.

Once swapped, recipients can add their Town & City Gift Card to a physical or digital wallet, making it easy to spend with both well-known brands and local independents.

This enhanced accessibility ensures that more of every pound spent stays within local communities.
